Warner's Corner
First Things First teamed with children’s hospitals to create recreational Warner’s Corners for pediatric patients. Each Warner’s Corner is unique to the needs of its host facility, but all address the recreational needs of the child. Patients were recruited to assist in the design of the fun zones. The first Warner’s Corner opened in 2003 at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis. Ranken Jordan Pediatric Rehabilitative Hospital in St. Louis opened its Warner’s Corner in 2004. First Things First provided a Zone to Go cart to Phoenix Children’s Hospital in 2016 to bring recreational opportunities bedside to patients in isolation.
